Mrs. Jessica Namur

    I am excited about beginning my 14th year teaching in the Hamilton School District. This place is my home. Having been raised by my grandmother ("Nonna") right down the road from one of the elementary schools, I have a deep connection to our schools and community. I  reside in Hamilton with my amazing husband, Kevin and our three babies, Judah, Camila, and Leo and our one fur-baby, Ellie.  

I began my education at MCCC and from I went on and graduated from The College of New Jersey with a dual Bachelor's Degree in English and Elementary Education. Later, I earned my Master's Degree from the College of New Jersey in Staff Supervision and Leadership Administration. My experience as an educator has been in First Grade, Kindergarten, Fifth Grade,  Middle School, and now....LIBRARIAN. I see myself as a lifelong learner and a true  ¨lover-of-literature,¨ with a passion for inspiring future generations to be the same. I aim to utilize books to build background knowledge for my students while getting them enthralled in books and the world of reading. I am passionate about bringing real world topics and conversations to life through literacy and books. I am so looking forward to meeting and working with you this year!
